Cilacap Regional Hospital now provides Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) health services, which were inaugurated on December 14 2023. This MRI installation is the result of collaboration with Samator Healthcare and is the first MRI in Cilacap Regency. 

Acting Assistant for Government and People's Welfare for Cilacap Regency, Warsono, inaugurated this new service at the Public Communication Forum (FKP) of Cilacap Regional Hospital. The inauguration event was also attended by the Director of RSUD Cilacap, Mochammad Ikhlas Riyanto, RSUD Cilacap officials, heads and representatives of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), as well as other guests.

Cilacap Regional Hospital uses a Lonwin MRI device with the latest technology which includes the mLive feature for quantification of hepatic steatosis and the T1-rho feature for quantification of articular cartilage in joints. This MRI installation procedure has been adapted to international standards.

With the presence of MRI services, Cilacap Regional Hospital is committed to improving the quality of health services for the people of Cilacap Regency and its surroundings.
